THERE WAS A KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS ON 18TH STREET IN LAYFETTE BACK IN EARLY 60. IT WAS USED FOR A SENOR CITIZEN HOME THEN.IT WAS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CHILDRENS HOME NOT SURE IF RESIDENTS WERE MEMBERS OF THIS ORGANIZATION ARE NOT.BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I WAS THERE IT MAY BE GONE NOW.
