I am looking for information on a John Adam Kline/Cline and also on Phoebe Lineback. John Adam was born in Va. abt 1774 and was in Switzerland County, Indiana by 1816 when one of his children was married there. In fact most of his children were married in this county. He is mentioned in the court records for Switzerland County. On May 1, 1820 Phoebe Lineback chose a guardian (John Adam Kline/Cline). She is said to be a 14 year old orphan. She married Jacob Cline (son of John Adam) on July 1821. I would like to find her parents. A Lineback who had died about 1820. Also another son of John Adam named John married a Sarah/Sally Scott in Switzerland Co, In. and is said to have died on Aug. 24, 1860 without children and his wife Sarah/Sally is said to have sued his brothers and sisters in probate court in Switzerland County to clear title to his estate. The information I have just says all his sibling were listed, some with their spouses. Where could I find a record of this. Does anyone know if there is any death records for Switzerland County?
