Marriage records indicate that Jordan C. Shaddy married first Lucinda Brinson on June 14, 1841. Next he married Louisa Brinson on January 14, 1844. Then Louisa (Brinson) Shaddy married Peter Green in Switzerland county, Indiana on July 18, 1844 (applied for license July 15, certificate of marriage filed on July 30, 1844). The 1850 Indiana census, Jefferson county, Shelby township lists Peter Green age 27; Louisa Green age 26; Lucindia Shaddy age 7; Mary J. Green age 4; John B. Green age 2.
Can anyone tell me the story behind this? What happened to Lucinda Brinson? What happened to Jordan C. Shaddy? Were they the parents of Lucindia Shaddy? Why did Jordan Shaddy marry Louisa? How were Lucinda and Louisa Brinson related?
