Thank you for your response. Part of the reason I responded in the first place to the message was spelling variation in the name Murdock. I have not been able to tie this family to my Murdocks. I have found one instance where the spelling of Moredock was used in my family and so, I try to look at anything that might help. Also, I had a Joseph Murdock in Switzerland County, (although in 1850 he was in Jefferson Township) which made me think that somehow maybe this family was related, and it may be, I just have not found it.

Do you have any MURDOCKS?
