I have recently completed a revised edition of my book on the Wainscott / Winscott family. A lot of information has been added about the life of Richard Wainscott, the ancestor of Wainscotts and Winscotts who lived in VA, NC, KY, IN, MO and TX.
In addition to the revised book on the entire Wainscott family, there is also a smaller book, specifically for those who want to know more about Richard Wainscott and the events which influenced his life-- in England, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
Information from court, land and church records has been used to describe the main events of his life. Quite a lot is known about some of the people he traveled and lived with, including Morgan Bryan, John and Silas Enyard, and Abraham Creson (who, along with Richard Wainscott, settled eventually in the Yadkin River Valley of NC), and the Harrisons who settled near Staunton, VA. The book includes several historical maps showing where Richard lived at various times (Maryland, Virginia and N. Carolina). Names of his children and grandchildren, along with their dates and places of birth and death are also included.
