The cemetery located at Pleasant at the intersection of State Roads 250 and 129 is the Pleasant Cemetery. It was the cemetery of the Pleasant Township Presbyterian Church, which I believe ceased operation in 1929. The published transcription was dated 1941 by the John Paul Chapter DAR and was actually done even earlier. There are no Van Hooks on this list. Of course, if they died since, you might be able to get someone to check Wanda Morfords' transcription, which I think were done int he 1980s. She's been dead for several years. If you try the Switzerland County GenWeb site you might try someone who will do a look up.
The Pleasant Grove Cemetery, only a couple ofmiles north, has been recently transcribed. No Van Hooks. Same for the Brushy Fork Baptist Church just a couple of miles to the West. Didn't see anything in the Zion Cemetery just to the east in Bennington and that's a recent transcription.
