I don't offhand recognize your William WILLIS, but some digging turns him up...

A check of Indiana marriage records [online at Ancestry.com] shows William WILLIS & Harriet HALL married 1 Jan 1860 in Knox Co., IN (Book E, p. 546). A futher check of the Knox County marriage records shows Dock WILLIS married first on 25 Sep 1893 to Florence WHALEN (Book C-13, p. 328) and second on 22 Jun 1902 to Stella SULLIVAN (Book C-16, p. 65). Given Dock's age when he married America WISE (41 yrs), it's not too surprising to find that it was his third (or fourth?) marriage. These records also contain a marriage in Indiana (county not given) on 13 Jul 1892 between a Rosella WISE and a William D. WILLIS.

A check of the 1880 census [online at FamilySearch.org] shows a William WILLIS ( 46, b. KY) and wife, Harriett ( 39, b. IN), living in Busseron Twp., Knox Co., IN (Roll 289, p. 279C). They have these children, all born in Indiana: Sarah (19), William (18), Josephine (16), David (12), Harry (10), Dack (6), and Mary (4).

A check of the 1870 census [online at Genealogy.com] shows a William WILLIS ( 37, b. KY) and wife, Harriet ( 28, b. IN), living in Busseron Twp., Knox Co., IN (Roll 338, p. 5B). They have these children, all born in Indiana: Sarah J. (11 -- should be 9), William (8), Josephine (6), David S. (1), and Henry (1m).

A check of the 1860 census [online at Genealogy.com] shows a William WILLIS ( 23, b. KY) and wife, Harriet ( 17, b. IN), living in Busseron Twp., Knox Co., IN (Roll 272, p. 806). They have no children, but there is a Bluford HULL/HALL ( 1, b. IN) living with them, which suggests that HALL may not be Harriet's maiden name, but the name of her first husband, though she is very young to have had a prior marriage.

A further check of the same 1860 census page shows a couple living two households from William & Harriett who turn out to be William's parents. They are William WILLIS ( 53, b. KY) and his wife, Sarah ( 50, b. KY), whose children were all born in Kentucky: Elizabeth (19), Samuel T. (17), David (16), George (14), Sarah (11), and Leona (12).

A check of the 1850 census [online at Ancestry.com] shows a William WILLIS ( 43, b. KY), and wife, Susan ( 41, b. KY), with these children, all born in Kentucky: Jane (15), Greenberry (14), William (12), John (10), Elizabeth (9), Samuel T. (8), David (6), George (4), Leona (6).

This senior William WILLIS, who married Susan BRUMFIELD, is the son of John WILLIS & Anna PAYNE. You can find many online sources for more information on this line (e.g., at WorldConnect.com, FamilySearch.org, and GenForum.com). I should warn you that the early WILLIS genealogy is somewhat in disarray. While I have a family group sheet for John & Anna (PAYNE) WILLIS at my web site, I feel there is some uncertainty about it and, especially, about his parents' family group sheet, which is linked to it:

My WILLIS line descends from John's brother, Sherod WILLIS.
