Looking for verification of parents of BENJAMIN WIGINTON RIDGEWAY, born September 22, 1841, died December 6, 1872 in Shaker Prarie, Haddon Township, Sullivan County, Indiana. Benjamin is buried at the Shepherd Cemetery in Shaker Prarie, Haddon Township, Sullivan Co., Indiana.

Benjamin married a Mary Jane "Mollie HOGHLAND ca 1867 and they had two children:

1) OWEN JACKSON RIDGWAY, born Feb. 20, 1868 in Shaker Prarie, Sullivan Co., Indiana; Owen died Oct. 25, 1935, in Carlisle, Sullivan Co., Indiana and is buried at the Engle Cemetery, Haddon Township, Sullivan co., Indiana. OWEN married an Alpha Retta KING at the George Davidson Home, in Sullivan, Indiana on September 4, 1887.

2) JAMES TILLMAN RIDGWAY, born June 8, 1872 in Sullivan Co., Indiana; died June 9, 1945 in Riverside County, California, and is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Riverside Co., Indiana. James married an Emma Jane ALLEN on January 19, 1897 in Sullivan Co., Indiana.

BENJAMIN WIGINTON RIDGWAY moved from Kentucky to Indiana in the 1800s, and his father has been allegedly "Wigginton Ridgway" or Benjamin Wigginton Ridgway; or just Benjamin Ridgway -- However, the Ridgeway (Ridgway) family has had a habit of naming several generations "Benjamin" -- and it is like unraveling a puzzle.

Would happily share pictures and/or information on this family.
