Thank you for all of your help. You have given me a lot of leads to follow up on. Adams is such a hard name to research. There are so many of them. I do believe that Gaskins is the middle name of William G. Adams. I had a great uncle with a middle name of Gaskins. It's a rare middle name. I don't think it's just a coincidence. Now if I only knew who William Adams' parent were.
