Allan, I have a civil war pension record affidavit on behalf of John Mcintosh of Iowa, formerly of Sullivan County, Indiana, when a sister-in-law Martha J. Pigg Mcintosh claims that John Mcintosh and his wife Elizabeth Waymire were married in May 1838 at the home of Issac Bledsoe in Sullivan County. This was also confirmed by a woman named Kitchens of Iowa who was also at the wedding.
Apparently the Piggs, Mcintosh, Bledsoes, Kitchens all lived near each other in 1838, as Martha mentions she lived a half mile from the Bledose house. How the Mcintosh/Bledsoe or Moores are connected I do not know...maybe they were just friends, but would think the Bledsoes/Moores, Mcintosh/Waymire are related.
