I have in my possession a book compiled by the Sullivan County Historical Society in 1991 called 'Sullivan County 175th Anniversary 1816- 1991' In this book it mentions the McCammon line on page 342 beginning with Matthew - it says he married Miss Trimble and one of his children was William born 1796. Matthew died 1841 and is buried in Paxton. (I believe that is IL.) and William died 1848 and is also buried in Paxton. William married Jerimimah St. Clair (this is who I am interested in)and had Jerry McCammom who married Sarah Swiney. Their son, Columbus married Mary Chilcote (they had 6 children) who died in 1894 and he then married her half-sister Grace Coffey and they had 6 children. There is more if you are interested please contact me.
