The Jacob Wolfe on the 1820 census was the head of the family of which the lawyer and Justice of the Peace, Thomas Jefferson Wolfe was a member. jacob came with the family from Va. in 1819 and had a number of children including Solomon, Clater and others. he is listed in the 1884 History of Greene and Sull. Cos. Ind. by Goodspeed
