The information that I have list a different wife for the Captain.

History of Sullivan County, Indiana
Wolfe 1909
Vol. I & II
Pages 306 & 307

This gives a bio on Sarah E. (Burton) Holston. Her second marriage was to Captain James Holdson. Data concerning James is his birth and death years and also stats "he came to Sullivan County in 1824, from Kentucky with his parents and remained here the remainder of his life."
James and Sarah had two children: Cynthia Ann, 7 February 1876 - 5 October 1900 and james Arthur born 28 September 1870, in Jefferson Township and he follows mining for his occupation. He married Eliza Bedwell.
Sarah E. Burton first married Andreson Pinkston and had two children, Allie Pinkston and Fannie Pinkston who married John Bedwell.

If you have any other information , please feel free to get in contact with me. I do have more information on the Captain. As far as his Obituary. I would love to see what information you have collected. We also have a website through MyFamily. Hope to hear from you soon.

Jessica Houldson
