I am searching for information on Catherine Stuteville who married James W. Croslow. They way they made double ss back then was strange. At first I thought this to be a mistake. The more I think about it the more I am beginning to thimk this to be right. Most Spencer I have found were around OHIO twp.
I am almost certain that both James and Catherine Stuteville Croslow died sometime after the birth of their last child between the late 1850 and early 1860. But I cannot find a list of children other than the following:
Nancy
Elizabeth {both of these married George W. Crider}
Joseph
martha
tobitha
edward
Jame Wl was married 20 dec 1832 Spencer co., possible father was John
