I find it interesting that you mentioned the Scottish Surnames I didn't know we had any Scottish heritage until my husbands Mtdna which is the mothers side, DNA came back and he had some matches in Scotland ,Germany,and England I knew and there are some from Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom,France,Finland,Hungary,Belarus,Switzerland, Ukraine, Quite a mixture, largest percentage group concentrated in Belarus, quite interesting only one match in the united States.
