Apparently John also went by Samuel, per 1860 census. I have most of the Beverly descendents by way of censuses down to 1930. The 1880 census shows Israel Knapp as father in law in the household of Sarah and Melvin Hungerford. Israel Knapp was married to Mary (Polly) Pattison, daughter of Edward. Do you know anything of this group? All this does not get me to great great grandpapa, but I will be happy to share anything I have that might interest you. How do you get into the crowd?
