William:

I would suggest we begin by letting each other know what we're looking for and go from there. I started my "project" by taking the most recent Hungerford genealogy ("A Summary Of The Families Hungerford, Descendants of Thomas of Connecticut, 2nd edition, 1980,
(second printing - 1982), Including A Brief History of the Hungerford Family In England from the 12th Century, And Descendants of: Thomas of Ireland, William of Maryland, and Thomas of Maryland." (Microfiche #6088572)) and put it into my genealogical program. I've been building on it, correcting it, etc. ever since. I've also obtained all the census records for the Hungerfords, including Rush county, from 1790 through 1930. I'm trying to document all the Hungerfords and the families that trace back to them. Regarding maternal lines that marry into the family--I try to take note of the parents surnames to assist researchers who want to take those families and document their roots. I also want to capture more than just birth, baptism, marriage, death and burial dates if possible. I want to try to find out their story if possible...

What is it you want to accomplish?
