My ggrandfather married Sarah Gordon. His name was John McDaniel. His son, John albertine McDaniel and Mary Ida Kay were the parents of my grandmother, Fannie M McDaniel
who married John Moore of Posey twp. Rush Co., Father of Mary Ida Kay was Issac Kay who married Anna C Gordon. I was at the Gordon property (which is up for sale) last fall and visited the Gordon cemetery. The Gordon property is located on US 52, 3 houses West of Amphitheatre Road.
I took pictures of the stones there and hopefully will receive permission to clean up that cemetery. It sits back of a cornfield in a wooded area, barely seen from road 52.
I am just waiting on permission from the Gordon nephew to begin cleaning. Uriah (I believe) is one of the Gordons who laid out the Arlington IN East Hill Cemetery. They are related to the Kennedy and Offutts who made the covered bridges. If you would like to communicate, I'd like that.
