I recently ran across a newspaper item stating that my great great great grandmother Mrs. Hester (William W.) Scobey (maiden name Cable) and daughter of Union CIty, Randolph County, IN visited another daughter (Malissa Scobey Denny) in MO in 1882. I do know that Wm. Scobey & Hester Cable were married in Danville IN in the mid 1800s, then went to KS and then MO...don't know why she was back in Indiana. Any help...anyone. Thanks.
