Jonathan Byrd m. Rachel Sweet VA/KY/IN

Have been away from genealogy for a bit. Am still seeking information on Jonathan Byrd/Bird born bef. 1750 in VA. He was married to Rachel Sweet of TN in the 1770s. Jonathan served in the Revolution from North Carolina. They had at least 3 children:

Rachel b. ca. 1770
Abraham Sweet b. 1785
James Luther b. 1801

Jonathan received a land grant in Barren Co. KY. He was living there in the 1810 census. By the 1820 census he'd moved his family to Crawford Co., IN. In the mid- 1820s they'd moved to Putnam Co., IN where he died in 1827.

I have built a website with what I do know about Jonathan's life, including photos of his grave and the plaque in the Putnam Co. Courthouse with his Rev. War Service listing. You can check it out at www.geocities.com/woodstock57580

I'd be greatful to hear from anyone with information on this Byrd family.
