Hello Joe,

I have no connection to this family other than the fact that I posted the article here to help others. I did check rootsweb gedcoms and found two or three people who have Lenox listed in their family lines. One of them, Heather Branstetter, has the parents listed as Johnny McCammy Duckworth, born 19th October, 1807 in Morganton, Burke County, North Carolina and Sophrana (Sophia) Peck, born 26th of June 1810 in Kentucky.

1860 census records

June 20, 1860
Cedar Township, Lucas County, Iowa
Page 51
Line 36 392 356

John M. Duckworth, 52, farmer, N.C.
Sophia Duckworth, 50, Ky.
Marilla C. Duckworth, female, 19, Ind.
John L. Duckworth, 17, Ind.
?, L. Duckworth, 14, male, Ind.
Joseph H. Duckworth, 9, Ind.
Jonathan F. Duckworth, 5, Ia.

1860
Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa

L. M. Duckworth, 30, carpenter, Ind.
Lizzie Duckworth, 24, Ohio
Franklin E. Duckworth, 4, Ia.
Albert E. Duckworth, 2, Ia.
William Duckworth, 2 months old, Ia.

If my memory serves me correctly there may be a couple of people on the Lucas Count list who are connected to this family.

Hope this helps. Deborah
