Adam SHEPHERD, buried in Pulaski Co.?
Posted by: Brad Shepherd (ID *****2532) Date: February 29, 2004 at 22:50:55

I'm inquiring as to whether anyone knows of an Adam Shepherd being buried in Pulaski County? Adam would be my great-great uncle. He was born in Vigo County in Oct. of 1854. His parents were Phillip and Margaret(Harpold) Shepherd. His family moved to Piatt County, IL in approx. 1870's. Adam married Miss Dulcinia J. Towner in Champaign County, IL on Aug.4, 1880. Adam's younger brother, Absalom, was my great-grandfather. I do know that Adam had at least three children, Millard, Nellie and Bessie.
