I have Euphemia Davis married Thos. Templeton in Posey Co, IN. Thomas was supposedly from Lincoln Co, NC. If this is the right Thos, this would have been his 2nd marriage. He is in the 1800 Lincoln Co. census--he & his wife are 26-45 with one m. 0-10,2 f 0-10 & 1 f 10-16.
He's in the 1810 census--he & wife 26-45, 3 m 0-10, 3 f o-10 & 2 f 10-16.
He's probably the same Thos. who was (1)on Cap't Davison's 1782 tax list in S. Iredell Co (Just n. of Lincoln Co.). & (2) a sgt in Brevard's Co of 9th NC Regiment in Rev. war.
One of his male offspring is probably the Thos. Templeton, Jr. who married Nancy Certain 4/17/1823 in Posey Co.
