He is listed in Porter county on the 1850 and 1860 census as being born in New York. His parents were from Canada.

From others who have done this family, they were from the Upper Zorra area of Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.

Other related names may be EDWARDS, LUDDINGTON and EGLIN.
