Reported in the Sept. 29 issue of the Press Dispatch, for those of you removed from Pike Co., is an account of the clean up, fencing and some restoration. This was done by three civic minded men and required a lot of manual labor as they had to saw, trim weeds and take their time to place a welded fence enclosing the gravestones...The men: Earl Cox,Phillip Jerrell and Jerry Hawkins.....Names listed as buried there are: Ficklin, Lee, Osborn, Palmer, Scott,Campbell, and Snyder. The township trustee provided funds for some of the project.
