Someone burned down the Bridgeton Covered Bridge last night. As a former resident of Parke County with ancestors from Bridgeton, I would donate to a fund to rebuild an exact replica of the historic bridge in its original location. If others would join me to help keep our ancestral heritage, please let the Parke County covered bridge association know.
