Mt Pleasant Cemetery is located in Randolph Township, Ohio County, IN on SR 262 just east of Woods Ridge Road. (8 miles from my home).
Milton is a small town in Union Township, Ohio County, IN. Milton is located on the southern side of Laughery Creek. (Milton was never a township. Laughery Creek is the dividing line between Dearborn & Ohio counties. Mt Pleasant is located in the small town of Pate which is at the intersection of SR 262, Woods Ridge Rd. & Cass Union Rd.
Only the old school is standing with about 10 houses.
As for the Gulley's. There are Gulley's buried right in the front of Mt Pleasant Cem. Will check on their names. (There is a Ohio County Cemetery Book but it is NOT complete).
Also, there are Gulley's buried in Riverview Cem. Aurora, Dearborn, IN. Riverview is very
near Mt Pleasant Cem. In 1826, Dearborn County, IN was formed. But in 1843, Rising Sun broke away to form Ohio County, IN.
Any questions, let me know.
Joyce
