This is not my family, but I noticed your query -- perhaps this will help......
Andrew Alshouse (1828-1909) apparently married at least 4 times. According to Noble County, Indiana, genweb info he was s/o Henry Alshouse & Sarah Plotner. His marriage to Sarah A Friend Knight was very brief if the marriage date of 16 June 1903 (Noble Co) is accurate, as she died the same year (November). After Sarah died he married again to Emily E Doyle. Andrew died 15 Sept 1909 and genweb info shows that his probate mentions his last wife (Emily) and only 2 children: Henry W Alshouse, and Dora Silibaugh. (Earlier census records show that Andrew and his first wife also had a son James and a daughter Olive b b/4 1860)
It seems like the "children" you mentioned in Sarah's 1903 "will," should include her daughter Clara Knight Yarian I think most of the others are Clara's children, so they would be grandchildren to Sarah.
