Hostetler School, Dist. # 1 School, Jackson Twp., Newton Co., IN

Can anyone tell me where the Hostetler School AKA Dist. #1 School was located in Jackson Twp., Newton Co., IN? It was sold at auction June 3, 1890 without the lot. The black-boards and furniture were reserved from the sale. At the same sale the "Mt. Ayr School House", Dist. #4 was to be sold. The trustee was J. F. Nichols. He is probably the one who owned the hardware in Mt. Ayr. I suspect the school may have been in section 29, since David H. Hochstetler owned land in that area. David was the first Bishop of the Amish settlement that once existed in the Newton-Jasper County area.
