Miami Co. Stuckers in early 1800s

If you are searching the Stucker name, the chances are fairly good that we are related, despite my surname! The Stuckers branched off from the Stocker tree in eastern Pennsylvania when two brothers moved to North Carolina in the mid-1770s and, then, on to Kentucky in 1779. By the first decade of the 19th century, the Stuckers were moving across the Ohio River into Indiana, especially Jefferson and Bartholomew Counties, and some in Miami County.
Along with about 100 Stocker/Stucker cousins, I am a member of a Stocker family website. Obviously, with that input, we have developed a fairly comprehensive family tree from 1700 to the present. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who believes that he or she may be related to this family. Please write to me at
