I am in desperate need of obtaining info about my gr gr grandmother Waity A (? birth/maiden name)married to Calvin Holman born in Ohio or Indiana aprox 1836 or 1840.last known place of residence was Miami County Indiana there in Peru Indiana 1870 census. Calvin Holman later went to work for the RR in Michigan in 1900 while one of his son's Harrie was a peddler of Junk, the rest of the family was not with Calvin on any census in the 1900 record; WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM, more-so Waity A?... who was Calvin Holman's forst wife, then also what happened to Mary A Brown/Collins his second wife? Waity A? is my true mising link and the most important person I need her maiden name desperately because she may have been an American Indian by blood and since I have a rare inheirited blood clot dissorder and my dad, his dad, and his dad all died from this I may be next, I prauy not but I must find out who carried this in their blood, it boils down to Waity I truely believe this, but must find out for sure. She too was born in Ohio or Indiana in aprox 1836 or 1840 or there about, this is not too clear but the latter makes more sence, and according to the July 1 1870 Census record from Peru Township in the county of Miami in Indfiana it shows their children Leander, Alexander who were twins, Sarah S, and John.
I know these are indeed my ancestors 100%+...
Calvin later married a Mary A Brown/Collins but the Collins I can't find either because I do not know their first namers etc.
I also need info on Calvin Holman's mother; Jane?
According to the Census of 1860 when Calvin was 20 and he may7 have lived with a different family in Deleware County Indiana,but not sure, he may have just been visiting at the time that the census was taken, this was in Center Township/ Muncie Indiana Delaware county. The 1860 Census shows Calvin's parents as James Holman age 45 from VA born aprox 1815 and spouse Jane? whom I need her birth name also, she was age 39 in this census and was born in OH she was Calvin Holman's mom, Calvin's siblings were Mary A age 17 born in OH, Malinda age 13 born in OH, William age 8 born in OH, John H age 9 born in IN and Amanda age 5 born in OH.
This more than likely means that there was maybe another woman invovled with Calvin around the time John was born, or that they just moved from OH to IN then back to OH imediately, since the years between children are wide spread between them who knows what went on *SMILES*!!!
PLEASE PLEASE HELP as I am at my wits end looking for the last ?m aiden names of Waity A? Holman and Jane? Holman.
They were more than likely Indegent/Native American Indian women, and it is very highly possibly because of the time period and all that went on, Wars and all. Question on if the men were Native American to a degree as well? I am desperate to know my roots because I have a rare inheirited Blood clot dissorder that could have only come from a Native American mix of Blood with white blood, because Calvin's son Leander passed with blood clots as did my dad Edward Holman, and his dad I am sure did as well but because he died from being hit by a train, there is no other records he had this dissorder, but it is highly possible he did as well, my dads dad name was Wesley Holman, married to Nellie Maxfield, I also need info on Nellie's parents etc. This Blood clot dissorder is a killer, I must find out about my blood line because of medical reasons I am pleading with anyone and all who can help me locate Waity A (? last n ame at birth) Holman; Jane (? last n ame at birth) Holman,and Nellie Maxfields parents names etc and any other info on them especially if Indian or not because of this rare dissorder of Blood Clots that I inheirited. Anything at all would help I beg, please let me know. There is also a connection in SC, and maybe Alabama? I also have a family tie from Iowa; the MAXFIELD/HOLMAN families etc.
