This obit is glued inside the Fisher Family Bible. This obit had some
errors in it and somebody crossed out those lines. If anyone belongs to
the Fisher or Miami mailing list will you please forward this on? Thank

Henry Fisher
Henry Fisher, well known retired farmer, of Mexico, died at his home
this morning at 2 o'clock, following a two weeks' illness caused by a
stroke of paralysis.

The deceased was 85 years, 8 months, and ten days old at the time of
his death. He was born in Miami county, near Mexico, May 11, 1845, the
son of George and Barbara (Moss) Fisher. On October 20, 1867, he was
united in marriage to Mary Simons, who, with the one child that was born
to the union, preceded him in death. A granddaughter, Mrs. Robert
Donaldson, of Detroit, survives. On January 16, 1878, he was married to
Isabelle Ault, who survives. ("Who survives" was crossed out.) Two sons,
Ira Fisher, of Mexico, and Tony Fisher, of Denver, a daughter, Bertha
Fisher, of Mexico, also survive.

The deceased spent his entire lifetime in the Mexico community with
the exception of two years, during which he lived in Fulton county. He
was a deacon in the Church of the Brethren at Mexico for several years.

The body was removed to the Robert Kline mortuary at Denver. (That
whole line was crossed out.) Funeral services will be held Friday
afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, with
Rev. Frank Fisher officiating. Interment will be made in Greenlawn
