Henry Fisher, well known retired farmer, of Mexico, died at his home this morning at 2 o'clock, following a two weeks illness caused by a stroke of paralysis.

The deceased was 83y 7m 10d at the time of his death. He was born in Miami County, near Mexico, May 11, 1845, the son of George & Barbara (MOSS) Fisher.

On October 20, 1867, he was united in marriage to Mary Simons, who, with the one child that was born to the union, preceded him in death. A granddaughter, Mrs Robert Donaldson, of Detroit, survives.

On January 16, 1878, he was married to Isabelle Ault, who survives. 2 sons--Ira Fisher, of Mexico & Tony Fisher of Denver, a daughter Bertha Fisher of Mexico, also survive.

The deceased spent his entire life-time in the Mexico community with the exception of 2 years, during which he lived in Fulton County. He was a deacon in the Church of the Brethren at Mexico for several years.

The body was removed to the Robert Kline mortuary at Denver. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Frank Fisher officiating. Interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
