Thanks for the data on the Chandler family. I've been able (with help) to recover this Chandler family line all the way back to ME/MA. In the 1860 US census for Springfield, Allen, IN, Sylvester (1830-1897) and wife Celia were living "next door", i. e., adjacent entries on the same census enumerations sheet, to his Father and Mother-in-Law, Freeman and Esther Austin Chandler. Wish I had as much data on Sylvester S as I do for the Chandler's.
