Where did Isaiah Jones come from?

I'm still looking for Isaiah Jones (Abt.1818-1895) who married Mary Bohannon (Abt.1818-Aft.1896)in Decatur Co., IN (marriage license was from Franklin Co.). They left IN soon after 1854 and by way of MO ended up in Bourbon Co., KS in about 1865.

Isaiah was in Company E, 6th Regiment of Kansas Volunteers briefly during the Civil War.

Please help!......Evy
