My 2nd g-grandmother was Priscilla (Prissilla) Goad who married John S. O'Donald. I believe her father was Ayers/Ayres Goad (1782 in VA-1855 in Indiana). I have been tracing the Goad family back to the 1600's in Virginia (North Farnham Parish, Richmond), but I don't know for sure if this is really my line of Goads. I THINK my Goads might connect to Abraham's son, John Goad (1700-) and his 2nd wife, Ann Isham.
Priscilla Goad O'Donald was born around 1828 in Campbell, TN and died in Indiana. Her father, Ayers/Ayres Goad was born in Virginia and died in Indiana. There seem to be a lot of Goads and they moved from Virginia and scattered around the country. Does anyone have these later Goads and can help me connect them to the Virginia Goads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
