MELVINA HARMON m. JAMES LARKIN CHURCH. Who are her parents?

I am looking for the parents of Melvina Harmon born c. 1832 in In., married James L. Church, August 29, 1863, and died in Sullivan county IN on 3 January 1898 (coincidentally, today is an anniversary of her death!) She had children, Edward, James, FANNIE AMANDA, Nancy, Elsie Bryant, among others. Fannie Amanda is my g-g-grandmother. James L. Church was a military man and died right after Fannie Amanda was born. They show up in a poor farm, the Fannie Amanda (went by Amanda in adult life) went to the Indiana Soldier's and Sailor's Home until she was 16 and they had to release her due to her age. No clue as to the names of the parents of Melvina, although I find one source that says it was George Harrison (maybe Harmon?) and Ann Allen. Any clues would be very much appreciated. BTW, the also lived in Vigo County. Thank you. Sondra Monroe Farmer (sofarmer@comcast.net)
