I'm not related, just trying to help.

I think that Lidne Wheeden is really Ledrew Wheaton. I think the name is actually written as Ledru on the census page. Here's the listing from the Topeka City Directory.

The 1930 census implies that Ledru and Nancy had only been married for 3 years so Dorthela was not Ledru's daughter. Here's Ledrew with his parents in 1920.
