Thank You Nancy,

This helps. Jeanetta was my Grandmother and I was named after her. I had done a family tree many, many years ago when I was 16 with the help of my father, Millard V. Eber. Jeanetta and Henry L. were his parents. I lost my books in a fire in 1993 and can no longer find the paper I wrote. Very disappointing as this included years that the family lived in Canada. My Dad and Aunt Mary Elizabeth Eber Rosanau (Sp?) were born in Manitoba, Canada, but my Uncle Emmett and Uncle Billy were born in Indiana.

Part of my problem with my tracking the matriarchal lines of the family is that the spellings change from place to place. Originally, I had found her name to be as mine, Jeanetta. But have now found it to be spelled Jennetta, and Jeanette, plus the last name spelled as Pittser in one place and Pitzer in another. Your information will give me a line to track. Also, the vital records is a good idea. It has been a long time since I have done this, plus the last time, we didn’t have internet to use. Thank you again.
