I'm helping out w/my husband's family line.
His great grandfather was James Alvie Smith, born 9/4/1885. In 1920 he was living in Loganspoint, IN and we have yet found a death certificate for this man.
James Alvie Smith's Father, Joseph M. Smith, born about 1836 in Ohio, date of death, March 14, 1887, Logansport, IN. It would be wonderful if we could find who all Joseph's siblings were and what his parents names are, with any and all information.
We have discovered Joseph married Elizabeth (have no idea what her maiden name is) who was born in Indiana about 1842. We would also like to find out her siblings and parents names along with her date of death, etc...
Any findings would be most appreciated.
