I have been researching my father's family for some time. He was born in Hendricks county Indiana and I have located his immediate family back to his grandparents. William Biby, Bybee was his grandfather. According to records I have found in Hendricks county William was born either in Kentucky or Indiana in 1833-34. I have only fround one William born around that time - in the 1850 census for Corydon, Harrison county, Indiana. I feel fairly confident that this is the same William that is in Hendricks county in the 1860 and forward census. However I have been unable to connect William to his father.

It's also possible that there is another William born around the same time that I have not located. I know ther was a number of Bybees in northern Indiana.
