The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, October 4, 1906 MRS. OLIVIA BOYER, was born in Dearborn County, Ind., April 20th, 1825, and died, Oct. 2, 1906, at the home of her daughter, MRS. MELL PRATHER in Cedar, where she had been making her home. She had been in failing health for some time past, and had recently received a fractured hip from a fall. A few days prior she contracted pneumonia which was the immediate cause of her death. She came to Iowa when 31 years old and located near Lovilla. She united with the church when 18 years of age and remained a faithful member until death. The funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Rusk of the Russell M.E. Church, and interment made at Lovilla, on Wednesday.
