Thanks, Margaret. My gggrandfather was Jethro B. Butler,b. Mar 11 1828, probably in Madison Co. IN; d. Sept 26, 1914 in Escambia County, FL; m. Rebecca Wyman abt. 1850 in Madison Co., IN.

Two children: Cecelia Adora (aka Dora C.) Butler, b. July 14 1856; m. John Beasley Vaughn, Escambia County, FL June 29, 1880. d. there March 21 1931; and Anna (Aka Annie) Butler, m. Isaac Newton Jackson, Marion Co. IN May 11 1887.

Jethro Butler had a brother, Myron, who moved to Iowa where he married and had one son, Francis.

That's what I know about my Butler line. Any connections? Thanks again. JOHN
