When I was in Bourbon a couple of years ago, I stopped by the library and looked through old newspapers there trying to find information on my father's Silvius side of the family. The article I found mentioned that the family was living in Bourbon in 1933, the southwest part of town in the Reuben Hand home. It also mentioned that the family had previously lived in Inwood. Do you know where that town is? I guess this family was poor and the children were staying in foster care during the depression. There are probably some Silvius' still living in the area. My dad's father's name was Amos Hugh Jr. and his mother was Grace Banks and his father, of course, was Amos Hugh Silveus. Let me know if you recall any of them or know of their relations. Feel free to email me.
