Can anyone help me find the ancestors of my Samuel Fossett/Fausett/Faucet. Here's what I know...he was born abt 1831 in Ohio or Indiana. He married Mary E. Young (b. abt 1836), daughter of William and Nancy (Ring) Young. In 1860, 1870, 1880 the couple were living in Madison County, Indiana with their children. In 1882 they were in Crawford County, Illinois, and then I lost track of them, but they may have been in Vigo County, Indiana around the turn of the century.
The Rings and Youngs (Mary's family) lived in Union County, Indiana before moving to Madison County, Indiana. I don't know when or where Samuel and Mary hooked up.
The children I have for Samuel and Mary are: James (b.abt.1852), Frances Elizabeth (b. abt. 1854/55), John (b. 1857), Nancy Ellen (b. 1859)--my great-great grandmother, Samuel (b. abt 1865), Araminta (b. abt 1867), Hominda (b. abt 1868) and Sanford (b. 1869).
