I checked the Madison County Health Department's index of death records for 1921-1940 and George Manley isn't mentioned.

Have you tried the Muncie Public Library? I believe they have a card file of obituaries for the Muncie paper and if George Manley was buried in Delaware County, there might have been a mention of it in the newspaper. I tried to log onto their website and I couldn't get it to load, but you should be able to find their information fairly easily.
