Most definitely!
John the Loyalist had an assasination attempt made on his life in Shelby Co., Ky., our John supposedly was killed in Shelby Co., at or about the same time. So was his friend John Campbell.
I wrote an ametuerish book for my sisters on our line, including John the Loyalist info. Too many pages to include on this site but will send copy to you at your home address if you don't mind giving it to me. I documented my sources at the end of the chapter on John but regretably didn't note them on the pages. Therefore it isn't in publishable form.
