I am searching for descendants of my great grandparents who married in Lawrence Co., IN 21 August 1856 (probably Mitchell, IN).I am pasting below the outline of this family. Catharine Horsey, daughter of Lemuel Horsey and Rachael (probably Dougherty)married Robert C. Greenwood in 1853. Then she married Alexander Devin Beck and gave birth to four children, one was my grandfather, John Jefferson Beck, b. 26 June 1863. They may have lived in Washington Co., IN before purchasing property in Martin Co., IN just before the Civil Way. Alexander was a soldier of the GAR.Catharine died 1866 and is interred in Spring Hill Cem., Shoals, Martin Co. but Alexander married again to Sarah Frances Survance and she raised his children. They went to Kaufman/Van Zandt Co., TX in 1878.
