MOBERLY and WILSON 1827-1828
Posted by: Judith Date: October 30, 2001 at 13:36:10

My Moberly ancestors were in Lawrence Co., by the 1820 census. Drury Moberly and wife, Elizabeth Henderson, with 2 females under 10 yrs., and 3 males under 10. (sometimes spelled Drewry Mobley)

By 1827 and 1828, two of their daughters married:

Mary (Polly) Moberly married Andrew Wilson
Nancy Moberly married Robert Wilson

(Brothers or cousins?) We don't know - but both girls remarried within 12 years time. They brought Wilson children to Missouri with them, with the following names.
Julia Ann, Drury, Walter, Jeptha and Isaac. Do the given names show up in anyone elses Wilson lines?

Who were the Wilson men, and what happened to them? Too soon for the Civil War, so was there an epidemic or known accident about 1836?

Thanks for any clue or advice, Judith
