Indiana Medical College in La Porte in the 1800s

I'm looking for information about the Medical School that was in La Porte in the 1800s, especially Dr. Daniel Meeker who taught at the school (known as Indiana Medical College at one time). Others who taught there were E.H. Deming, Tompkins Higday, A.B. Shipman, John B. Niles and J. Adams Allen. William Worrell Mayo graduated from the Medical School in 1850 and he and his two sons, William and Charles developed the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in later years.
